Triad

Triad is a hand-forged sculptural object that explores balance, structure, and material through the interplay of steel and copper. Forged using traditional blacksmithing techniques, each surface retains the evidence of its making, where hammer marks, joinery, and subtle variations in texture create a unique material record.

The composition is organized around a forged central ring from which three articulated forms extend in equilibrium. The relationship between solid form and open space produces shifting patterns of light and shadow, allowing the piece to reveal new spatial qualities as it is experienced from different viewpoints.
